Instagram/Facebook Shops Recommendations
Boosting order value through product recommendations is a proven success on a seller’s own website, but on Shops, that impact wasn’t as strong. Hypothesizing increasing impressions and engagement could bridge the gap, the team worked to revamp how and when we show recommendations. My contributions included designing a variety of modules, each tailored to a user’s specific needs and stage in the buying journey, for example showing low-cost products before checkout. This work not only delivered positive results in key metrics, but also pushed design boundaries by introducing new patterns.
